Phoenix Support Centre is committed to strengthening mental health through prevention, intervention and community-based support. Our core programme focuses on the following priorities

Promote mental health awareness across schools, communities and workplaces
Deliver conferences, outreach initiatives and webinars
Provide professional education and create local employment opportunities within the sector

Advocate for policies that improve access to care and reduce stigma
Collaborate with organisations to strengthen mental health services and outreach nationally

Provide 1:1 professional, confidential counselling tailored to individual needs
Establish a 24/7 crisis line for immediate access to support
Develop a multi-access mental health centre offering discreet and confidential services
Create a dedicated family support centre focused on early help, healthy upbringing and prevention of mental health difficulties in young people
Introduce Non-Violent Resistance training to support parents experiencing child-to-parent violence and restore safe family environments

Establish support groups connecting individuals with shared lived experience
Create safe, confidential spaces for young people to discuss mental health concerns and reduce stigma
Provide support and training for schoolteachers to recognise mental health needs and neurodiversity, and refer appropriately
Develop resources for schools to identify red flags early and enable timely intervention

Support counsellors and mental health practitioners in developing sustainable private practices
Provide infrastructure within the centre for small counselling businesses to deliver services
Promote multidisciplinary collaboration to improve quality and reach of care

To achieve our core objectives, we will:
Increase awareness through structured school, community and workplace programmes
Acquire land and develop a purpose-built mental health centre
Establish satellite and mobile outreach capacity where appropriate
Recruit skilled and values-driven staff
Design and implement early help and preventative programmes
Expand services progressively across districts and provinces
Generate local employment opportunities within mental health services
