Topics covered: What is neurodiversity? Types of neurodiversity? Challenges of neurodiversity? Strategies to raise neurodiversity awareness, and Why Autism?. The event was attended by people from 3 countries (South Africa, Malawi and Nigeria), it was an engaging sessions with lots of questions about some of the behaviours noticed particularly in young people. A need for further awareness to create understanding and deal with the stigma related to neurodiversity which is due to poor understanding.

Phoenix Support Centre (CEO, Founder and Psychotherapist) was invited to the Ikwekwezi Radio station to discuss mental health issues and in particular there was a case study discussed raising a significant shortfall in the health sector at so many levels. Issues of guilt, feeling ashamed, bereavement, blame and many more were explored live on radio.
